Five days of contact with their players in the summer is good enough for the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association.
Madison.com is reporting that when the organization met for its annual convention last weekend, its membership decided that extending its football outside of the fall season, isn't in the best interest of the students.
Currently, the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association gives coaches a five-day allotment for contact with their players outside of the season, which begins with two-a-days in mid-August and ends with the state championships at the end of November.
