Greenwood/Granton went from 0-9 two years ago to a state championship this year.
The Indians beat Seneca 40-0 Thursday to win the state's Division 7 state title. Greenwood/Granton was led by quarterback Josh Harlander, who rushed for 167 yards; fullback Hayden Hinker chipped in 152 yards on 16 carries. Both Harlander and Hinker rushed for two touchdowns.
Defensively, the Indians held John Alanis, the state's leading rusher to just 87 yards on 24 carries.
